- February 5: 2010 Legislative Unwrap Breakfast with
AWPC-endorsed Southern Arizona legislators at Arizona Inn.
- March 13: AWPC 18 Annual Women Making History luncheon
at Arizona Inn. Keynoter: U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords. The
annual Mim Morris Woman Making History Award presented to Isabel Garcia.
- May 21: 2010 Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast with AWPC-endorsed
Southern Arizona legislators: Senators Paula Aboud & Linda Lopez;
Representatives Olivia Cajero Bedford, Pat Fleming & Nancy Young Wright.
- June 10: Reception for AWPC 2010 Endorsed Candidates
at home of Leslie Nixon.
- August 28: NOW 20th Annual Woman of Courage luncheon
at Arizona Inn, featuring all past honorees. AWPC was honoree in 2000.
- June – November: Participation in campaign events/activities.

- March 27: AWPC 17th Annual Women Making History luncheon at Arizona
Inn. Keynoter: V. Spike Peterson. UA Professor, Department of Political
Science with courtesy affiliations in Women’s Studies, International Studies
& Center for Latin American Studies. Presentation of annual Mim Morris
Award to Barbara LaWall..
- May 29: 2009 Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast with AWPC-endorsed

- June 10: Tucson Chapter meeting. Program: Discussion
of increased demands on local social service providers in the current
economy. Panelists: Sarah Jones, CEO of Emerge!, Patti Caldwell, COO of
PPAZ, and Susie Huhn, ED of Casa de los Ninos. 5:30-7:00 pm at Casa de
los Ninos, 1101 N 4th Ave., Tucson.
- August 7-9: NWPC Biennial Convention in Newport Beach,
CA.
- September 12 & 19: AWPC Girls' Leadership Training program

prospective members, and AWPC endorsed candidates for City Council, Nina
